Hello,

I would like to know when does PrimoCache load and checks for the layer 2 storage? I am trying to create a method to pre load a RAM disk for L2 but this info will help me choice the best method. I.e If i need to load before even window start i can not have a LZ4 compressed ram disk, etc.

Also, does it load before windows page file check? At this is a very known startup stage.

PrimoCache loads level-2 storages as soon as level-2 storages are visible to Windows system.

Anyone considering this should review the Primo Cache's cache on a RAMdisk? thread. I can't really see the point of such a setup since you use RAM for a L2 cache which could be better used as L1.
