I am not able to install at all. The program hangs while starting the process. I have tried to use a setup file I saved as well as starting over from scratch.
I did notice the file looks to be created but as I said I cannot get through the start up process. The install never finishes. I have tried to reboot but the system does not come up at all.
Let me know if this is not compatible with win 8.1 as I have seen nothing stating it is.
Unable to install in Windows 8.1 Enterprise 64 bit
Re: Unable to install in Windows 8.1 Enterprise 64 bit
Primo Ramdisk is compatible with Windows 8.1. Actually many users have already succesfully installed it on Windows 8.1.
Did you run the setup program with administrative privileges? Also please make sure that the program you installed is Primo Ramdisk, not VSuite Ramdisk.

Re: Unable to install in Windows 8.1 Enterprise 64 bit
OK. So I should have installed it by right clicking on the file and selecting run as admin?
Every time I tried with out that it would just hang does that sound about right?
Thanks.

Yes, you must install it with administrative privileges.
Re: Unable to install in Windows 8.1 Enterprise 64 bit
When I right click any EXE file contained on my RAM disk (Direct-IO, dynamic memory, compact mode), and select "Run as administrator", I get the error "Incorrect function". This affects application installers that extract setup files to a temporary folder and then try to run them with elevated permissions.

Sxandy,
You may need to reconfigure your ramdisk as a SCSI device for "Run As" to work (as SCSI, it will be recognised by Disk Manager).
