Reboot, Level-2 storage problem

Hello!

I have a issue on my windows 7 (64bit) system. If I use the Level-2 storage, then my system doesn't shut down anymore (the windows shut down screen stays for a few minutes). Afterbuy I make a hard reboot, the Level-2 storage is empty - no persistent data are anymore in the Level-2 cache.

Thanks for any support

Your motherboard model and level-2 device model? And the cache settings? Thanks.

I have a HP Elitebook 8540w. The SSD is a OCZ - Vertex4.
Settings: I attached the screenshot of the setting. The Level-2 is turned off, because of the problem. I will use a 12GB separate partition.

I have slightly different situation. The system does not go to sleep. It just hangs for many hours. When filechk is run, it seems no problem is found.

The following is my system:

Intel 960 CPU running at 3.02 with 12G memory running at 1600 M.

SSD is OCZ 60G Vertex 2. Using the whole disk as 2-level. First level is 120M.
PrimoCache was enabled with 4K block LRU replacement for Read only.

Hello,

I have tried again to use the Level-2-Cache function (with SSD). If I deactivated the "Defer-Write" function, then the Level-2-Cache works fine.
But I need the Defer-Write function. Maybe you have any idea how to solve this problem!?

Thanks for your support
Hagen

Thank you again for the information!

It seems that there is a problem if both Defer-Write and Level-2 features are enabled. We'll try to find the root cause.
