#009 In Windows 10 build 14393, Windows hangs on boot up after enable UWF filter.
[Solution] Fixed in the version 2.6.0. Note that you need to enable UWF filter first and then install the version 2.6.0 or newer. Otherwise, there will be problems with EFS, Bitlocker, Windows Hello, etc.

#010 In Windows 10 build 14393, C-Media Sound Card driver reports "BAD_POOL_CALLER" BSOD when PrimoCache is used.
[Solution] Check if the installed driver for C-Media Sound Card is the latest one, or try Windows 10 standard sound driver. See http://www.romexsoftware.com/bbs2/en-us ... =34&t=4197

#011 In Windows 10 build 14393, BSOD on shutting down the computer when both MEGASync 2.9.9 and PrimoCache are used. And L2 cache contents are also lost after reboot.
[Solution] Updating MEGASync to 2.9.10 may solve the BSOD issue. However, it still leads to reset L2 cache contents. So if you have such problem, we suggest you use one of these two programs.
[Solution 2] This issue might have been fixed in the version 3.0.1

#012 In Windows 10 build 14393, BSOD "BUGCODE_NDIS_DRIVER" on Windows boot when computers use Intel Wireless-AC 7265 network adapter.

#013 On some computers, if a MMC/TF/SD card is cached with Defer-Write on, PrimoCache has no chance to flush deferred write-data when you eject the card, leading to data loss.
[Cause]Hardware and SD adapter driver related.
[Temporary Solution] Manually pause defer-write before you eject the card.

#014 Possible conflict with SmartDefrag Pro
[Solution] In the SmartDefrag - Settings - Defrag, do not check the option box "Enable Intelligent Disk Boost".

2019-01-01 Update

[Solution] Supported since the version 4.2.0

2019-12-10 Update
#016 Using 4Kn (4K native) drives might cause data corruption.
Cause: PrimoCache currently doesn't support 4Kn drives.
You may check if a drive is working in 4Kn mode by following steps.
1) Open the command prompt with administrative privileges,
2) Type the command: fsutil fsinfo ntfsinfo X:, replacing X to the drive that you would like to be cached.
3) Check the values of "Bytes Per Sector" (not the "Bytes per Physical Sector") in the output results. If the "Bytes Per Sector" value is 512, then the drive is supported. If it is 4096, then the drive is a 4K Native drive and so far PrimoCache doesn't support it.

[Solution] Fixed in the version 4.1.0

2020-04-23 Update
#017 Fatal incompatible issue with Kaspersky products which contains the driver klbackupdisk.sys, for eg Kaspersky System Interceptors PDK.
Cause: It seems that klbackupdisk.sys is a disk backup filter driver from AO Kaspersky Lab. With this driver installed, fatal problems might be caused on drives being cached by PrimoCache, leading to data corruption on source data.
If your computer has Kaspersky products installed, you may open the registry and check if the value in the name "UpperFilters" contains the string "klbackupdisk" in the branch HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{71a27cdd-812a-11d0-bec7-08002be2092f}. If have, you shouldn't use cache before uninstalling related Kaspersky products.

[TIPS] When you encounter any boot problems with PrimoCache, you may try F8 button to go into the safe-boot mode first. If you can enter the safe-boot mode, you can uninstall PrimoCache and then reboot the computer to see if problems are solved or not.
