Pagefile in ramdisk (question)

I´m wondering if it could be useful to save the pagefile in the ramdisk and I think maybe here some of you could give me a nice answer =)
I'm not sure how windows pagefile works... its only hdd swapping ram ? Or it serves as cache too ? (I imagine I run a game and after a while it writes some data in the pagefile, if I run this same game after reboot, will it have some benefit of having data storage in the pagefile ?

no cache function.
And data stored in pagefiles is not persistent across reboots.

Also, ...
What is your computer Windows OS ?
If your computer have XP or Vista or Windows 7 or Windows 8 = Try ReadyBoost, with a USB ThumbDrive.

If your computer have Windows with is x64, and 4 Gig and greater ram, try to disable completly pagefile.

Wondering if pagefile content is stored while entering (hybrid) energy saving mode in Windows 7?
Awaking without data loss possible?

pagefile content is still there while entering sleep/hybrid sleep mode.

Thx.
If pagefile.sys gets its own partition (DIO, 1024 Mb, NTFS), it is NOT working with drive letter A: !?
Drive letter F: for example is working.
Are there some known restrictions regarding on os windows 7 64-bit?
Drive letter A: has been used for floppy drive (long, long time ago...)

pagefiles cannot be set to drive A:/B:. This is restricted by Windows.

make me login now i fogot what i was doing

Ohh Swap file...
I've been playing with a ram drive and ram cache for a spinning drive.
Research and hands on ; Microsoft windows 7/64 ,, Somebody at microsoft says, if you have enough ram you only need enough swap file to cover the blue screen dumps.. so a mini dump is about 331mb... Which just so happens to be the size of a write of 'something' to the swap file here when I have ample ram and nothing using it and absolutely no problems.
Win7/64 complains & suggests it wants 400 mb minimum if you go to disable the swap.
Anyhow I set my swap minimum size to 500mb = 512 in explorer & typed in it the maximum size as suggested by the computer... then i put D drive, basically used here for an image and few other junk storage things.. as a system managed swap. Letting windows set the size it... The System, puts a conservative sized swap file there, but doesnt seem to use it. ... for My sanity.
Then in a RamDisk drive, put 500mb in its own 660mb partition for a swap. Seems to work !
Microsoft guy says... the swap will use some math to decide which drive to use.. which I think probably would be basically least used, fastest.. and some other unknown or un-thought of ... to my head... parameters.

with the current amount of ram the usage of pagile is totally deprecated. Even if you dont use it, you will see how the computer speed is increased.
