The following happened immediately after restoring the system (Windows XP) from hibernation using a direct IO disk with invisible memory. Have not seen this using the SCSI disk. Reverting disk back to SCSI and will see if it goes away.

Event Type: Error
Event Source: Ntfs
Event Category: Disk
Event ID: 55
Description:
The file system structure on the disk is corrupt and unusable. Please run the chkdsk utility on the volume RAMDISK.

Did you use Invisible Memory?

Yes, using invisible memory of 1000MB.

Did you also enable IM hibernation?

Was there an IM hiberantion file? Did you change the hibernation file location? Is the partition large enough for holding all IM data?

Thanks for the information.

I enabled IM hibernation and did not change the standard location of the hibernation file (C:/). Yes, there is enough space to hold the IM data.

On my C drive I see these files:
hiberfil.sys
imhiberfilex.sys

Hi mwoffenden,

I am sorry that this issue has not been reproduced at our site yet. We'll continue testing it on more computers.

Since you are using Invisible Memory which may be related to the hardware, can you tell us your hardware configuration (CPU/Motherboard/Memory/Harddisk)? And did you use any tools like TRIM tools for SSD?

Thanks.
