Don't know if it can help, but my OS is : Windows XP Home (32 bit).

I have the same problem too.

I updated the PrimoCache from 0.9.1 to 0.9.8. It worked fine on V0.91 WinXp SP3.
And the system was always crashed on V0.9.8. no matter whether I uninstall the V0.9.1 first or not.
The ERROR message is :
STOP: c00021a unknown Hard Error
unknown Hard Error

7G DDR2 with AMD 780G mother board.

Same issue.

Have tried:

Re-imaged system to a CLEAN WinXP SP3 install with critical updates up to 19-SEP-2013 (no drivers other than NIC drivers)
--Installed PrimoCache 0.9.8
--System crashes upon bootup during WinXP logo and goes back to POST

Re-imaged system to a CLEAN WinXP SP3 install with critical updates up to 03-FEB-2013 (no drivers other than NIC drivers)
--Installed PrimoCache 0.9.8
--System crashes upon bootup during WinXP logo and goes back to POST

Re-imaged system to a CLEAN WinXP SP1 install (no drivers other than NIC drivers)
--Installed SP3 (did not apply any updates to base SP3); Rebooted
--Installed PrimoCache 0.9.8; system reboots and operates without issue, did NOT test PrimoCache functionality
--Applied all critical updates (128+) for WinXP SP3
--System crashes upon bootup during WinXP logo and goes back to POST

We tested all Windows XP editions, but unfortunately we cannot reproduce it so far. We're thinking if this issue is related to other applications installed such as backup software etc. We'd appreciate it if you provide the following information.
1. Values of "UpperFilters" and "LowerFilters" in the registry branch:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{71A27CDD-812A-11D0-BEC7-08002BE2092F}
2. What mode are disks working in? IDE mode, AHCI mode, or raid mode?

My HDs work in IDE mode.

To backup, I use Norton Ghost 10.0.

But may be your request is about the 0.9.8 version?

As I stated in my posts they were clean WinXP installs, as in no other software installed and very few drivers.

My imaging software is run through DOS.

As for the information you requested...
UpperFilters = VolSnap
LowerFilters = FancyCcV

Disks are run through a Highpoint RocketRAID 2320 most in JBOD and one 2 disk RAID 0 stripe.

PrimoCache 0.9.1:

System C:(SSD) work in SATA mode. ( Enable L1 R/W cache , no Defer-Write)
Data D: work in IDE mode. ( Enable L1 R/W cache , no Defer-Write)

Same issue.

XP Pro SP3 (32-bit).
Primo RAMdisk Server Edition ver. 5.6.0 and PrimoCache Version 0.9.2 worked fine.

System C: work in AHCI mode.
Old Acronis TrueImage (build 8 398).
PrimoCache Version 0.9.2 worked fine.

I deleted All caches-disks, uninstall 0.9.2 and rebooted.
Then I Install 0.9.8 and reboot PC

STOP: c00021a

No any Dump.
