Cache Size?

Post by HooDooMan »

Using the trial version of the PrimoCache product. I have 32GB of RAM and am using Windows 7 Pro - 64-bit. Resource Manager shows 22000+ MB free. The maximum L1 cache size that I have been able to get to work is 2048MB with 128KB blocks. The volumes that I am caching are 10.9TB with 4KB allocation unit and 3.3TB with 16KB allocation unit.

In the near future I will reformat the 10.9TB volume and change the allocation unit size to 16KB.

Is this typical? Can anyone give insight how I might be able to get a larger cache to load? Ideally I would like to be able to use 4096-8192MB cache with 16KB block size.
