Primo works fine. Till reboot...then only Bluescreens

Post by drmaniac »

Hi there,

I use

Windows 7 64bit
Asrock Extreme9 Mainboard with Intel i7-3930K CPU
64GB G.Skll Ram
Crucial M4 SSD with 128GB onto SATA3 Intel Port @ AHCI
Installed Rapid Store Intel Drivers into Windows.

today I tryed two products.

First the Primo Enterprise Ramdisk Trial.

Installed. Created a Ram Disk... worked fine! Speed tests... all ok!
(Ramdisk is just vanilla, no special, 10GB, no imagefile, ntfs formated thats all)

But!

After a reboot I get a Bluescreen. Only way to fix this was to use system restore points before Primo install.
In the Bluescreen there was no information about drivers or anything...

Makes no difference if I use DirektIO or SCSI Disktype...

Tryed a lot.

Then I downloaded and installed Ultimate Version, after install I created a Ram disk..worked fine.. then...REBOOT!

BÄNG! Again bluescreen, no way to get back in my Windows. Used then again a system restore point.

But with Ultimate I get more information into the bluescreen:

So...what the hell :)

Software is working after installed but result in systemcrash if the workstation get rebooted.

Your software ram Disk solution is in my eyes the best on the market and I dont want to buy any other :/

Can you help me with this?

cucu :)

EDIT:

ok a BIG update.

Now its trunning fine, including alive after reboot.
What have I done? I switched off all Marvel Controllers into BIOS and deinstalled all Marvel drivers (due I have only a DVD-burner and one SSD internal which are all handled by the original intel SATA ports).
I deinstalled Asrock components: there was also a (non functional) Ram disk into system controll, and also an asrock "use more then 3GB driver"... think this was both only for 32bit systems.

Dont know what exactly fix the problem, but...at this point I can work and will do some tests now :) (rebootet now 3 times...just to check  )

This topic has been copied to "Primo Ramdisk" sub-forum since it is talking about Primo Ramdisk, not VSuite Ramdisk.
