We need dark mode already. Can't believe the UI is so outdated.
Seriously, how hard would it be for you guys to implement?
And yet, it seems to be taking years of development to make any progress with this simple mod.
Please add.
Dark mode
Re: Dark mode
We truly understand your need for a dark mode, and it is indeed on our development roadmap.
However, because our GUI application was built over 15 years ago on a legacy framework, adding this feature isn't as simple as flipping a switch. It requires a significant, foundational overhaul to do it right.
As PrimoCache is a performance tool and its GUI application is only used for configuration (no need to run continuously), our current focus is on higher-priority core functionality and performance tasks. Because of this, unfortunately, dark mode isn't scheduled for the immediate future.
Additionally, we have also provided a CLI (Command Line Interface) that includes the vast majority of the features available in the GUI. You may want to consider using the CLI if you find the GUI too bright to be uncomfortable.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we continue to work on improving PrimoCache.
