I sometimes push my cache up to 52GB in size on a system with 64GB of RAM installed. Large amounts of data, needing smaller runtime space. I'd like to be able to force it, but the 7-zip hashing doesn't always do the job, and Primocache doesn't have the ability.
Many people have requested this feature over the years, for various reasons. I see no good reason now to dismiss it because it "might not be effective for others".
