Windows 10 "Core Isolation" and "Memory Integrity" PrimoCache incompatibility

Post by insertrealname »

Windows 10 (all editions) users with compatible hardware can enable the "Core Isolation" and "Memory Integrity" system core features described at https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/ ... d-p/167303

PrimoCache 3.0.9 is still not working with those system features enabled, but the link above describes some of the changes necessary in PrimoCache's usage of Windows APIs in order to achieve compatibility. It's really important for Romex to increase the priority of development efforts to do that!!!

Thank you.

v3.0.9 installer is able to detect if memory integrity option is enabled or not, and will prompt if it sees the compatibility issue.
Because PrimoCache utilizes system memory in a special way, it will cause performance penalty and lacking of some functions if using the compatibility way. We're still thinking about this.
