4.Q: PrimoCache breaks Windows Resource Monitor
A: When Defer-Write is enabled, writes from Windows/applications are completed in PrimoCache and don't go to disks. When PrimoCache flushes cache data to disks, it runs at system kernel level, so only the "System" process activities are seen in the resource monitor.
5.Q: It is not possible to resize the HDD in a correct manner when PrimoCache is active.
A: This is by design. PrimoCache prevents the resize because otherwise the whole caching need to be reset.
6.Q: Every few days cache is wiped. Any reason of that?
A: Please see viewtopic.php?f=33&t=5161

A: No, PrimoCache does not remember drives by drive letter. You can cache a volume without a letter assigned.
13.Q: does Primocache prevent multiple cache taks accessing the same disk and set of files?
A: Yes, one volume can only be cached by one cache task.
14.Q: Primo cache works on only one account of a PC with Windows 10 ?
A: No, PrimoCache works in the Windows kernel level and apply to all users. However, users who have no administrative privileges cannot open PrimoCache GUI correctly and you may not see any information. But cache tasks shall still be active.
15.Q: Failed to create or join a cache task
A: Please see viewtopic.php?f=33&t=4962
16.Q: How does Primo cache handle symbolic links?
A: PrimoCache only caches destination files. For eg. assume symbolic links are on the drive C and destination files are on the drive D. If D is cached by PrimoCache, cache will work when accessing the symbolic links. If C is cached while D is not, cache will not work when accessing these files.
