Write mode for shingled hard drives

It would be helpful if you could provide a mode similar to average, but designed to keep active time low, so that shingled drives or QLC drives can perform garbage collection. We can use an MLC/TLC drive as the cache, and keep the lower tier storage from becoming overloaded and drop drastically in performance.
