Primocache L2 Storage Backup/Recovery

I made an account just to bring this up, bear with me.

The L2 storage for Primocache does not want to keep all of the data it caches. I understand that during an unexpected shutdown it disassociates cache as a safety precaution. What I would really like to have added is a backup/recovery feature. This could save the contents, usage data, and prefferences of larger caches to hard disks. L2 storage doesn't need to be purged like it currently is. Recovery can keep data that remains the same across cached drive, cache content, and recovery record. This can still allow any files that don't match to be released while significantly reducing wear on ssd writes.
This can also allow for cache profiles to switch between if someone were so inclined, more options other than pause cache would be good.

Thank you for your suggestion!
We understand the pain that have to repopulate the L2 cache data after an unexpected shutdown. We're also looking for a better way to rebuild the cache.
