Please see the "Potential Problem and Notice" section in the page https://www.romexsoftware.com/en-us/pri ... cache.html.

And regarding the previous corruption issue, could you open the registry editor and then locate to the branch "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{71a27cdd-812a-11d0-bec7-08002be2092f}, then send us a screenshot of its values? We'd like to check the values in "LowerFilters" and "UpperFilters".
And same operations to the branch "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4d36e967-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}".
Thank you.
Sure, Here's the screenshot for these two registry keys. {71a27cdd-812a-11d0-bec7-08002be2092f},

I have already read about the offline modification in that particular page, I would like some clarification why the situation I mentioned above would be classified as "offline modification"? Since 1. Primocache is running during the modification and all cache is NOT Paused, 2. No Volumes or drive has been unmounted / mounted 3. Drive letters has not been tempered with. 4. The PC has been running without interruptions, no sleep, no hibernate, no restarts, no sudden power loss. Primocache should be able to see all drives at all times. On top of that, I was not modifying the source disk, I was modifying the L2 Cache volume(to simulate L2 corruption) which causes the issue. Interestingly, If I try to modify the source disk using Hex editor or disk editor, Primocache will be able to track the changes and correctly update it's L2 Cache.

I think you are right. PrimoCache should be able to prevent other software from directly writing L2 drives when PrimoCache is online, though these L2 drives are not easy to be recognized by other software. We will improve this. Thanks.
