Reinstalling Windows

Post by Mingyuan »

Hi all! Does anyone know what will happen to my license if I reinstall the operating system? I need to do a fresh install to fix an unrecoverable corruption in my boot drive. How should I do so without losing my PrimoCache license?

Edit: Now that I think about it, I emailed support with my info and notified them that I had a PC that died, and wanted to transfer my license. For a reinstall I think the Romex server remembers your hardware, so you should be good to go for doing a reinstallation.

I think you just need to install the program, then enter in the information from the email they sent you after you purchased it.

If your mainboard was not changed, you may just do the activation after you reinstall Windows.
