Primary Drive SSD sata, L2 SSD nvme

Hi,
Will this setup makes sense?
Primary Drive/Volume to cache: 1TB SSD SATA (Boot and data drive)
L1: 2GB RAM
L2: 512GB Nvme

Will this makes sense as i'm caching writes of antivirus on the primary drive, advantage of L2 speed on nvme, and sequential writes to volume rather than bursty writes.

or

Just split 512GB nvme as 256GB boot drive and 256GB L2 cache and make 1TB as data storage for program files for games and documents etc.

Thanks,
Balrog

I recommend that you split 512GB nvme as 256GB boot drive and 256GB L2 cache. Native SSD speed is faster than that when used as L2 cache.

This is it, and can confirmed this is the best way:

NVME 512GB: boot drive and L2 cache.
SATA 1TB: program files and games.

Thanks for the help.
