I noticed that I can have my Windows C, Programs P: and Games G: on a single cache task or different cache tasks.
What is the purpose of say having Cache task 1 - For C (SSD0.0), Cache task 2 for P (SSD0.1) and Cache task 3 for Games (SSD1) as opposed to having it setup with One Task?
What are different cache task for? Topic is solved
Re: What are different cache task for?
Cache space in a cache task is shared for all volumes in this cache task. Cached data for one volume might be replaced by other volume's data when cache space is full. So less volumes in a cache task, more dedicated cache.
