Brief setup/config:
500GB SSD L2 cache for two 10TB storage HDDs.
I'm looking to boot into and use clonezilla to periodically create an image of my OS and store it on one of the 10TB drives. Existing files would not be deleted or modified, only new ones added to the 10TB drive. Would this cause issues when booting back into windows with the cache. IE does primocache detect *any* change to the drive and require a rebuild of the cache, or does it only detect changes in actively cached files.
If need be it should be easy enough to create a second partition that isn't included in the cache for those backups, but I'd prefer not to do that.
Thanks.

This is a typical "Offline Modification" scenario. Please see the "Potential Problem and Notice" section in the page https://www.romexsoftware.com/en-us/pri ... cache.html.
