Hi!

I just downloaded trial version and cannot create Level-2 storage. Error is "Failed to convert this volume to a level-2 storage volume! [0x00000000]".
I have 3 4Tb drives (dynamic spanned to create single partition) and 1Tb M.2 NVME SSD. My plan is to use 100Gb partition on SSD to cache slow HDDs.
All drives are GPT and advanced format (4Kb sectors). I'm running Windows 10 with lates updates (build 18362.418).
I can create L1 caches just fine both for SSD and HDD.

Please help, PrimoCache is really only tool to make this kind of configuration. I attached error screenshot and my system specifications.

Thanks!

Support can correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think you can use Dynamic volumes as L2 storage targets.

Dynamic Volumes are supported as both L2 Storage devices and target volumes.
But so far PrimoCache cannot support drives with native 4KB sector size. We're still working on it.

Hi, is there a progress for this issue?

I'm sorry that the development progress was delayed because of COVID-19 issues. This task is at highest priority, we will support it as soon as possible. Thank you.

Now PrimoCache have been able to format 4Kn drives as level-2 storage since v4.2.0.
