Dear Romex support,
I am unable to run Primo Cache. The installer finishes without problems, but the application itself just does not work.
After the installation, it asked me to do a reboot. I did so immediately, but the reboot froze. After about fifteen minutes I just switched the computer off.
After a reboot I am unable to launch Primo Cache. The process itself is loaded, but nothing happens. It also uses just 1,8mb of ram.
I already tried reinstalling it a couple of times to no avail. Installing in safe boot doesn’t work neither. My windows installation is actually a completely fresh install. I did a clean install yesterday.
I would greatly appriciate some help to get this software running smoothly.
My system specs are:
Dell M6700
Some Intel i7 quad core
Nvidia Quadro K4000M
32GB DDR3 RAM
Samsung 840 pro 256GB SSD
Some 1TB 5400RPM HDD
And software:
Windows 8.1 Pro x64
Avast free antivirus (disabled)
Malwarebytes anti malware (disabled)
PrimoCache not launching, failed installation?
Re: PrimoCache not launching, failed installation?
Thanks for the feedback! The issue you reported is a little strange. So far we have no idea about the boot freeze issue. We'll check it.
