Thank you for you response.
The disk size on workstation is 400 GB. The disk size on server is 1 TB. I could not imagine that 2.5 times the disk size would cause 10 times the overhead size. This seems to be out of proportion.
Of course increasing the block size has positive effect on the overhead but small block sizes are much preferred.

I hope you will find ways to reduce it.

Hopefully this indicates it's "all hands on deck" and "battle-stations" because they are testing the new version. :)

I don't know wich OS you use but I have the same issue with XP 32 and Seven 64 when I stop or restart...

All my machine are windows 10 x64. So it seem the reboot freeze happen to all OS version. No a big deal since it happened around 3 freezes for every ten reboots. Anyway, the page file feature still is more beneficial than the annoyance.

My server don't have this issue since it still on on 2.4 server edition.

In my opinion, this make PrimoCache unmarketable since the 2.5.0 version (september 2016, 6 months).

To restart or shutdown my PCs I use .bat files wich first pause PrimoCache and then use the shutdown command.
For a general lay audience, this is unacceptable. It is like if to switch off the engine of your car you need first to get out of the car and then unplug the fuel pump...

"Use the previous version (2.4.0)", Support said. PrimoCache is it the first one (unique) soft for wich updates are highly-unrecommended?

Can you provide the pause cache script? I think it can be use in conjunction with the shutdown process in gpedit.msc and have re enable during bootup. This would lighten the annoyance til Primocache get fixed in 3.0. Hope that would happen next version.

Thanks..

I'm really sorry. But I think that to help you is the job of Romex Software's Support/engineers/developers.

PrimoCache isn't a freeware. I bought 4 licences. They have to do the job for wich they get the cash.
We wait for a fix since 6 months now...

As you can read it, I become furious.
