System freeze on Winxp

I am having an issue with the Ramdisk Ultimate 5.6.0 on winxp sp3.
When setting the C:\Windows\TEMP environment variable to RAMDISK\TEMP and launching system defrag of drive C the the system freezes at 1% progress at compressing files.
This is totally reproducable. Once I return back to the default settings for the Windows temp folder, then defrag runs as normal.

How can I avoid this?

May I have your ramdisk settings? You may send it to [email protected]. Do you use a hybrid-ramdisk? If yes, you may try a pure-ramdisk instead of a hybrid-ramdisk.

What is a hybrid Ram disk? I can´t see any settings for that.

A hybrid ramdisk is a virtual disk composed of RAM and physical storage. When you create a ramdisk, you can setup it in the "substance settings" wizard page by inputing the size of physical drive.
