Kernel Blue Screen - FC Logging ?!! - Suggestion - Solved

Post by intika »

Hello... :)

i'am using
- FC Volume 0.6.2
- Mini FancyCache
- eBoostr
- Diskeeper Pro
- Acronis True Image / Backup & Recovery
- 8 GB DDR Ram
- 3 GB RAM For FC
- Win 7 32

....

i get a bug while copying big files at same time (50 GB files) ... Blus Screen ...

but i could not debug the problem exactly checking windows log i only found some lines indicating that some essentials services (svchost) was stopped like user login service...

...

Any Way i know that it's complicated to debug a complex problem... my question/Suggestion is there a logging system for fancy cache ?

as fancy cache is coming to it's final version and cause of the complexity of penitential problems / Blue screen it will be very interesting to have a system log for FC...

Ler me know thanks

even if it's some thing minimal to see if fancy cache is responsible of the issue... some thing like a logging system integrated directly to fc driver and bypassing the cache system...

Yes, FancyCache has a logging system. But for blue screen issue, normally the log system is not enough and unuseful. Regarding to this BSOD issue, do you find a mini-dump file?

Regarding the mini-dump file, please see
http://www.romexsoftware.com/en-us/know ... -file.html

Thanks.

any way what i mean in the suggestion is a real unique system log for fancy cache just a little one it could help and then we could spend time to analyzer system logs dump etc... ;)

After analyzing the dump file it seems that the problem come from Alteris SVS Driver (Symantec Software Virtualisation System)

i was not using it and the bug just happen when copying big files...

Got a kernel ntkrnlpa.exe error

You could check some details here

i don't know if it's related to fc

an other system blue screen when i copy big file...

it's not happening always when i copy big file just some times...

generally when i copy file i'am using other softs at same time (firefox or winamp or windows live mail desktop .... or else)

This time the error come from win32k.sys (about paging system)

this time again i could not be sure at 100% that fc is responsible... but it look like lol
