How it could be helpful: This would be useful for gamers with lots of RAM. One could just start dump-prefetching the entire game directory into cache, take a piss and start the game, seamlessly bypassing the slow HDD reads/writes during CPU-intensive game load/server connect. I know the whole point of FancyCache is to implement an adaptive cache for Windows, but adding in a persistent cache could prove to be popular.
