One thing that I absolutely crave to see in your product is persistent cache, at least L2 cache. In fact I was surprised to find out that L2 cache wasn't persistent. I don't think there is any other feature that can possibly be added that would improve performance as much as persistent L2 cache.
There is also an advantage of having L1 persistent cache but I can suspect not as effective as L2. While running performance statistics for the entire day today only 3 GBs are used (16GB L1 cache with Defer Write 1 hour). If 3 GBs of data would be loaded beforehand all-at-once, tomorrow morning there would be at least 50% read hit ratio instead of current 5%.
That being said I appreciate a well designed product. I hope too see your product as a standard on every high end machine.
