Yes. Actually any other developers can rewrite the whole application program.
However the some statistics items are not fixed yet and might be added or removed later.

Now the write amplification bug has been fixed in version 0.4.1. So the total written data to the real disk is fewer if defer write is on.

updates:
1) fix bug: possible write amplification if defer write is enabled,
2) support TRIM command for SSD if defer write is enabled,
3) fix bug: cpu usage is high if statistics monitor runs a long time,
4) fix bug: possible data error while doing defrag, vss, etc,
5) fix other minor bugs.
