Re: One 32GB SSD - 4GB page file & L2 Cache?
Just to clarify, if you have a C drive for example, and your SSD is the D drive, when you create the extra 4gb volume on the D drive to be your extra drive, it should end up another drive number, possibly E, or whatever you choose. You would therefore have a C drive, two drives from your SSD, D and,...

Re: Development stopped?
I do not wish to confuse the issue here at all, but I have had 3 instances where large Windows updates have resulted in corruption, (see my post April 15th), and resulted in my restoring my system from a backup. I am not sure exactly what is to blame, but now I always pause, or sometimes even stop t...

Pressing pause then run possible problem
I have been using PrimoCache for some time now, and the registered version since it was formally released, but had never used the pause function until yesterday. I have a cache on my system disk, (5gb ram, 20gb SSD), and the same on my data drive, all worked fine for many months. I was about to take...

Re: On reboot does L1 fillup with whats in L2?
Just a personal opinion, if you have 4 x ssd in raid, level 2 cache would be a total waste. L1 cache will gather some of the well used files, such as those for booting etc., but it depends I would suspect how much L1 cache you have. I have 5gb, which does fill up over the course of a few hours use, ...

Re: Notebook dead
Hi, I see you also posted asking for help configuring, and then you had this problem. Did you use L2 cache? and if so, did you make sure you were using a partition that you set up specially, or perhaps an empty SSD. I say this because it sounds possible that if you set up a level 2 cache, it needs t...

Re: [SOLVED] SSD - System Freeze Completely After Some Time
Hi, I had a look at your post you linked to. I had some fun and games with the Intel Rapid Storage drivers some while ago, and found I needed a bios update, (Asus P8Z68-V pro). Since going to Windows 8.1 I have not installed any other drivers other than what was installed by Windows 8.1, mainly beca...

Re: [2014-04-16] PrimoCache 1.0.1 released!
Well it seems either Romex have listened or we jumped the gun, as I have just looked at the new home page and it shows Primocache and a buying link. You can now buy a single licence for home use for $29, a lot better than having to buy 2 for $49. I am not sure about activation yet, I will go and buy...

Re: [2014-04-16] PrimoCache 1.0.1 released!
Just my view on activation and pricing.... This is a great product which I have used since FancyCache, and it works very well indeed, but for the price shown on the sales link given in a previous post I fear it would be too high for many prospective users. At the end of the day it speeds up my syste...

Re: [2014-04-16] PrimoCache 1.0.1 released!
This has been running a few days now on my PC, and I have tested it as far as I can, and for the use I give it, it is working very well, so many congratulations. I fully understand what some have written regarding beta and final releases, and the requirement for ongoing patches, but it has, in my op...
