Re: Cache "successfuly" fails to be applied when more than 65 GiByte is configured

It seems that PrimoCache failed to allocate memory as L1 cache. Because L2 cache can start, PrimoCache will still create the cache task. That's why you see L1 is 0 but cache task is created successfully. Is your system a NUMA architecture? If yes, you need PrimoCache Pro and enable NUMA-aware. See h...

Re: Quick question regarding windows write cache vs primocache L1 defer write

BetoMattos wrote: Mon Dec 04, 2023 2:47 pm It would be interesting to disable the "Enable write caching on the device" function, so for those who use Primocache?

Re: Possibility of L0 cache with faster lookup by trading off some cache-hits, infront of L1.

Re: L2 cache only for HDD

Yes, you can just use L2 cache. This is one of the functions that the program supports.

Re: NVMe characteristics important to PrimoCache?

My first question is, what sort of performance is important to PrimoCache? Is random IO performance the most important, or does PrimoCache read/write from L1 and spinning disk to/from L2 cache in sequential reads and writes? The sequential and random read/write performance of SSD are both important...

Re: primocashe for gamers

Hello! I have a library of 200 games for cloud gaming. 16tb mg09 + 1tb ssd for cash is constantly being overwritten. Clients play different games and the caching mode in the current version is not very suitable. I would like to be able to cache files up to a certain size. For example, up to 1 mb. D...
