Re: FancyCache causes drive clicking

It's a known Hard Disk power management problem. Try to disable HD APM and everything should be fine.. to do so, download (quietHDD - http://sites.google.com/site/quiethdd/) and set APM values to 255..

Re: Some Suggestions...

@sparkler That's why Virtual-block caching (aka FS-Level caching) is more efficient in these cases.. Defragmentation & some AV software manage data caching at the file level to optimize disk I/O & minimize cache thrashing by not using OS's file cache if necessary, through (e.g. FILE_FLAG_NO_...

- View content of cache and may be later the possibility to choose what to cache Yes, we have taken it into consideration. Thanks. Viewing cache content? isn't it a block-level cache or a file-level one?.. if it's a block-level disk cache, and If I am understanding this correctly do you think this ...

Re: MiniFancyCache - FancyCache Plug-In v0.6.2

Hi intika,

Well, that wasn't my claim!.. I said "I hope it's a false positive (not infected)", and I didn't say that your binary is infected!, but Virustotal says so :D & (VBA32, McAfee aren't pseudo AVs BTW).

Anyway, thanks for the clarification and have a good day!. :)
