Problem with Dynamic Memory Management
Recently I installed Primo RamDisk on my PC (Windows 10 Pro) which has 64GB RAM. I set the disk size to 48GB, and – important for me – “Dynamic Memory Management”. This is a very valuable feature I am very pleased with. Once in operation, when the Ramdisk got filled with say 30GB of data, the remain...

What happens when deleting a junction point?
I had created a junction point from a certain folder to the Ramdisk. If now I wish to give up this junction point, I open the "Utilities" and delete the junction point - so far so clear. Question: what will happen if I do this? Will all the data from the Ramdisk be transfered back to the S...

Re: How to link folders from existing programs to Primo Ramdisk?
oh, thanks for the explanation. At least now I know that I did not make anything wrong.
However, it would definitely be a bad idea if these facts were included somewhere in the Help Section, so that the users know beforehand what the situation is and how to proceed.

Re: How to link folders from existing programs to Primo Ramdisk?
Yesterday, I uninstalled PrimoCache and installed RamDisk for trying it out. The main purpose of this PC is grid computing with BOINC, hence I created a junction with the BOINC working files folder. As far as I can see after this short time, the tool seems to meet my expectations. I am using the ima...

How to inrease size of RamDisk ?
I have installed Primo RamDisk a few hours ago, and now during running all the programs and tasks it becomes clear to me that I would need some 500 to 800MB more than originally thought (i.e. some 13.0 or 13.3 GB instead of 12.5GB). Can I increase the RamDisk size somehow, or do I need to uninstall ...

Re: How to get cache space freed up?
many thanks for your thorough explanations above. However, I finally could get the OS to run again, by a restore session I had started several times before, even in Safe Mode. Hence, there was no need to reinstall XP and all the programs. What I did, however, was to remove PrimoCache. With regard to...

Re: How to get cache space freed up?
Well, I will have to make a decision to quit PrimoCache earlier than I thought - yesterday evening the system crashed again, due to a malfunction of a certain software. And, other than few days ago, the OS now seems to be damaged serverely, in a way that I cannot use it any more: I can't get the net...
