Do you plan to increase the size limits for licenses?

Do you plan to increase the disk size limits of licenses?

$15 for 8Gb ramdisk limit was fine 12 years ago.

But paying today $99 for the right to get just a 32Gb limited ramdisk, when you can get another 1Tb nvme SSD drive for the same price is a bit .. ridiculous.

Re: primocache and Perfectdisk defrag conflicts?

I am not that crazy staying on the watch for 60 days period of manual disk subsystem rebuild... there are other things to do, work, maybe. and I stay near my company 450 km away from my home. I don't even want to think about PCs on those rare occasion when I visit family. Win7 is designed to defrag ...

Re: primocache and Perfectdisk defrag conflicts?

P.S. I am not sure, was SuperFetch enabled at that time, you should check it. Personally, with my flash drive I found PrimoCache L2 ineffective, and even worse. So I am using SuperFetch, sometimes it helps, sometimes it just do nothing bad. So, maybe a combination of SuperFetch and Primo Deferred-Wr...

Re: primocache and Perfectdisk defrag conflicts?

Well, as I said, it is(was during trial period) installed at my family house, so I can not check it at the moment. But I have downloaded it 5 months ago. So, you can check the April 2016 version.

TMPFS on Windows

It appears, PrimoCache and RamDisk (with dynamic allocation feature) are both ideologically related to TMPFS. But neither fulfill all its basic capabilities. Is it possible to see in the nearest future a Cache OR symbolic-linked Ramdisk, with dynamic memory allocation and "aged" file dumpi...

Re: primocache and Perfectdisk defrag conflicts?

I confirm. PrimoCache conflicts with Windows 7 standard defrag. I was wondering, why my hard disk gives strange sounds. After investigation, it appeared, background defrag was running that time. But when I examined the fragmentation (using ultradefrag), it was awful, like windows defrag never comple...

Re: TEMP automation

no 1)Temp settings are not automated. Inexperienced user can-not link the Ramdisk to the temp directory because it is not empty and can not be emptied. the user need to - kill file handlers in the %temp% - delete temp files - create the RAMDISK - link the disk to the temp - reboot. Another way is to...

TEMP automation

Using your software from the moment Ramdisk got the memory deallocation feature. Marvelous! Almost like in Linux. Almost. But is it possible to realize a in future a Hybrid strategy based on linking to a real directory or swap? I mean, in linux, tempfs can swap itself with a delay to keep small memo...
