softperfect ramdisk does not work even with ticking Hard drive Emulation. Ram drive shows up in Primochache and able to format etc but cache always 0.0% hit rate.

The RAM drive is setup to load before the windows page file and i also did testing with creating the caching once windows has loaded no reboot. Same result.

PrimoCache 0.9.9 is not working with only level 2 Cache and RAM drive. I understand this is not the recommenced setup but if Hard Disk Emulation drivers do not work some PCIe cards will not work as well. As PrimoCache system is not able to understand the file system and only blocks. If a feature looks at the files via windows GUI app then created a list of blocks and make sure those blocks are in cache.

They are different products but when using a new L1 cache that is large enough to store all current read and write requests, it should be around the same performance. As per the SoftPerfect RAM Disk screenshot it seems that there is some large room for improvement for quad channel architecture users.
