Is 5.6.0 the last release?

Hi.

Long time since I purchased the pro version and been on this forum.

Was just curious to know whether 5.6.0 is the last release or are you working on any more updates?
The program is running perfectly, but are you able to a squeeze some more performance?

Failed to create new disk! [0x000005AA]

Is the error code I'm receiving when trying to make a new RAM Disk. The software is paid for and registered. http://i.minus.com/1335800926/amTwxyHLFCIDXjijnV3yVg/iNb35pwvuRyju.PNG I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling, tried both Disk types (SCSI and Direct-IO), that didn't work. Any ideas? Thanks. E...

Re: Primo vs. Dataram

I was referring to the compression setting in Anvil's benchmark. Ah, I see. As far as Primo's dynamic memory management is concerned, just check the "Dynamic memory management" and "Compact mode" check boxes. In regards to Compact Mode, reading the FAQ, it states; The shortage o...

Re: Primo vs. Dataram

I've been lurking the forums and I'm definitely impressed with the level of customer service. I also like the fact that the products are still receiving healthy updates, especially RAM Disk, the product I'm interested in. In all honesty, I don't usually buy software unless it's absolutely worth the ...

Re: Primo vs. Dataram

Hi Hellbilly, Just installed Anvil's Storage Utilities, and the results are quite one sided, to say the least - http://i.minus.com/1333391374/MjyKCH5xo0xXFj4qNqKBGg/ioP3LPjXdg1Eq.png RAM Disk: Dataram, CPU @ 3.8GHz with HT. Massive differences there, especially with Write. Looking at your results, i...

Primo vs. Dataram

Hi again guys, I've been reviewing my options regarding which RAM Disk software to use/purchase, and it comes down to either your software (Primo), or Dataram's. The big difference is, for what they're offering on their Free version, it seems like the logical choice, seeing as my RAM Disk will defin...

Re: But I only want one licence, for 1 PC..

Okay, thank you for your reply.

I think I'll just have to save some pennies then, as I've checked around and I much prefer Primo than anything else.

Ciao for now.

But I only want one licence, for 1 PC..

Trial period has expired and I really like the program, I've tried other RAM Disk softwares in the past, but this one seems a lot easier in regards to setup, and one of the fastest I've seen in benchmarks. Getting to the point, I was on my way to buy the Pro Edition, but the price has put me off som...
