I kinda don't understand your question. Windows should be installed before installing PrimoCache. You can then set up caching for the drives you want to speed up.

You need to enable the option "Flush L1 Cache to L2 Cache" in the advanced Defer-Write settings for your scenario. And INFINITE latency is not recommended. Please see the following document on how to tune Defer-Write parameters. https://www.romexsoftware.com/en-us/primo-cache/term-defer-wr...

The index database for cached data is kept in the memory. It requires fast access and it will be frequently updated. So currently we store it in the memory.
