I am also using Primocache on my media server without an L1. I noticed as a computer on my network started viewing a 4k movie (which was 61gb in size) it started caching something. By the time I checked again the whole movie size was cached. It was the first event I did after creating the cache and ...

Thank you, I have made those changes. Do you think the Defer to write being set to 90 secs is good or should I go for the full 300? This is mainly for games.

This is my current setup with the intention of gaming. If anyone has any suggestions I would be happy to learn.
My L2 is a very fast 1tb NVME and I have it caching my 8tb drive with all gaming media. Is my memory allocation good for a 32gb machine?

I agree with this. I found this because I have an 8TB drive with a 1tb nvme as L2 and about 10gb currently set to L1. I have 32gb of ram in my system and I play a lot of games. I want to make sure I do not starve my games of memory but I also want the best L1 cache. Should I assume I only need to lo...
