Re: Using primocache L2 on a torrent drive?
If you don't want to mix the cache between games and seeding, you can partition your drive and only cache the game partition. If they are both in the same partition, cache might be affected by each other. yea i have too much data on it to partition, i'll just have to play it safe for now and go wit...

Using primocache L2 on a torrent drive?
So i've ran up against some space constraints and had to do some shuffling lately. the result was that my spinner that i run all my single player games off of (and had cached with L2 against an nvme SSD) took on the role of also seeding. i'll be the first to admit my understanding of primocache is p...

Re: [Tool] Automatic pause and resume for backup-software
any ETA on the next version release? It's planned to come out in April. I have a quick question about this. Is the feature essentially an integrated way to exclude any process/exe you want from effecting primocache or is it limited to a few specific softwares? the big 3 causing me concern are macri...

Re: any way to close the GUI in tray from command line?
thank you for the replies. so it sounds like i will have to choose one or the other basically. I cant have it close gracefully and still have it close to the tray while in use then. any drawbacks to forcing it closed? it runs as a driver/service right? so forcing closed the gui shouldnt have any imp...

Re: any way to close the GUI in tray from command line?

I'm using the following and if i run the batch file, it will re-open the GUI but not minimized. if i run it from task scheduler, it will re-open fancyccv but it will not be in the tray, can only see it re appear in task manag...

Does primocache run as a service?
if so, what is the service name? I''m looking for it with no luck. trying to stop it via script while snapraid is running a sync/scrub and since the time is variable depending on when its sync'ing and scrubbing using a /timeout for a pause in a batch is my next best option.

Re: Risk of Data Loss with Defer-Write on SSD cache?
So far the risk of data loss exists whether using RAM or SSD cache when defer-write is enabled. The cache index database might not be correctly updated during an ungraceful shutdown, so even using SSD cache PrimoCache still cannot recover data. But we are working on this feature and we do hope we c...

Re: A primocache discord
yea i was thinking more like for users to congregate and discuss the app and share settings etc. i feel like a lot less people frequent and reply to posts on forums than they could or would in something like discord. i have to assume it would take some of the load off you guys
