Upgrade from 4.2.0 to 4.3.0
Will I lose my existing cache if I chose to upgrade? I spent a fair amount of time tinkering my cache config and now I locked on to a good sent of cache content. I don't want to go throught that process again.

Are Primocache License transferrable?
I run PrimoCache on three PCs and one of them fried itself a while ago. After tinkering I came to the conclusion it's completely dead and not savable. I'm getting a replacement PC next week, do I need to purchase a new license for it?

Re: Weird Command line Behavior
Update
I made a work-around by wrapping each command into a scheduled task that only fires on demand. But still figuring out how to get the commandline working will be greatly helpful.

Weird Command line Behavior
I am trying to write a .bat file to manage my cache tasks. It pauses or resumes cache tasks and append a log to a txt file for debugging. To debug it, I configure it to write to the log 1: whether the process is run as admin, 2: exit code of the rxpcc command, 3: time stamp. The following behaviors ...

Re: Cache disturbed by backup?
Pause your cache before doing any backup. Primocache will cache all the recent read and push out your most of current cached data. I used acronis myself and know this behavior. How do you do so automatically? I tried to pause it by command line scripts but Acronis failed to pause it since admin pri...

Cache disturbed by backup?
I’ve been using PrimoCache and it worked pretty well, until a power failure corrupted my system last week. So I decided to do backups regularly to save myself when such thing happens again. However, I noticed that after I setup the daily backup, the hit rate dropped significantly. I wonder if anyone...

Reinstalling Windows
Hi all! Does anyone know what will happen to my license if I reinstall the operating system? I need to do a fresh install to fix an unrecoverable corruption in my boot drive. How should I do so without losing my PrimoCache license?

Need Advice on Very Low Hit Rate
I've been using PrimoCache for over a month and the hit rates are very low. I have 3 Caching Tasks running: a C: drive on which the OS and my "service apps" (apps that start at bootup and keep running as long as the PC is on), cached C: by 8 gig of RAM. The D: drive is a SSD on which all o...

Re: Caching a very fast SSD
Also my three SSDs are two Sabrent Rocket 4+ and one Samsung 970 Evo. Which one should I use for programs and which one for L2 cache for HDDs (which store data tables for MATLAB)? I’m totally new to caching and any advice will be appreciated.

Caching a very fast SSD
Hello guys. I’m running a PC with 3 SSDs with one of them dedicated to cache my HDDs. I read from other posts that ram caching helps SSD life span and I accidentally lost warranty by scratching the label on my drive when installing heat sink, thus I want to cache the other 2 SSDs. However, they are ...
