Re: Open GUI visible at ALT+TAB

Uncheck the setting and the GUI doesn't start anymore at a new boot. That's not helpful. In the past it was not visible at ALT+TAB on Windows with that setting enabled.

Open GUI visible at ALT+TAB

Maybe it's a Windows 10 bug, I don't know, but every time after booting my Windows I can see the open program at ALT+TAB, look at the screenshot and you know what I mean. I am running Windows 10 Home, build version is 18362.329 and the PrimoCache is latest version 3.0.9

Re: Intel Optane Memory

I made now two cache tasks, one for my SSDs only with RAM cache and the second one with all my HDDs cached by the Optane Memony as L2 Storage. It runs good so far, the L2 with the HDDs has a cache hit rate 99,93%, not sure if ok or I did something wrong. The SSDs runs perfect with 8GB RAM cache, clu...

Re: Intel Optane Memory

Did I need to install the Optane Software to run the M.2 correct? I have the RST installed version 17.5.0.1017 and the Intel Optane runs with that driver 17.5.0.1017 as Intel(R) NVMe Controller. My mainboard Asus Prime Z270-A can it only run at 2x not 4x. SmartHDD say the Optane runs: Performance: M...

Intel Optane Memory

Hello, can you pls help me with my config to use the Intel Optane Memory effective? I have a Intel Optane Memory 32GB installed and tried a few configs with benchmarks, but it's always slower than my ram or PrimoCache does not use the Optane Memory. After the L2 format it is 27,25 GB for using, I tr...

Re: Install conflict with Samsung Magician

You can install both, but not enable the Rapid Mode at the same time with running a cache on Primo Cache. I used Samsung Magician for benchmarks and firmware updates before I had the problem and uninstall it.

Re: Install conflict with Samsung Magician

Yes Jaga, I know. The Samsung RAPID Mode was always disabled since I use Primo Cache and it was disabled. I test my SSDs and HDDs every step with AS SSD Benchmark to see if anything changed, and if the RAPID Mode get's enabled by anything I would have noticed it, but the Drives shows normal values a...

Re: Questions about L2 and Settings

Next week my new Samsung 860 Evo with 1TB should arrive me, there was a very cheap offer for it, I move the L2 cache to the new 1TB SSD and make a new size for it. The are 4 HDDs with total 16TB dataspace, all movies, big files, copys etc. plus external HDDs, but I don't sure about caching them. So ...
