Are there any known bugs by the Support team in the beta ?

Hello,
I test the program on two PCs. Currently, it looks good. I even see an increase in performance on my second PC (which had otherwise minor problems with the cache). The new slider is a very good feature for individual settings between reading and writing. My second computer runs better if I only take read for the first cache and only write for the second cache. At the moment I would say: Very good and an improvement!
Kind regards
anbu

In our testing platforms, we haven't found any problems yet. We're still doing long run testing.Daniel290881 wrote:Are there any known bugs by the Support team in the beta ?

I am very keen on a server version. Will there be a server edition of this when it is stable? From the download page it looks like the server edition is abandoned and there has been no new release supporting Server 2016.

Microsoft changed the policy of third-party software for Server 2016, we have to do much extra work for the server edition for each release. To reduce work overload, we decided to bypass the releases from v2.5.0 to v2.7.3 since updates in these versions are mainly for Win10/Server2016, and will support Server 2016 starting from v3.0.0 ( about a month later than the release of the desktop edition).

Do you have some licensing scheme suitable for virtualised environments? Most of our Server 2016 instances are running under vCenter/ESX. Can we license PrimoCache for use on these instances without doing it manually for each one? Since our SAN has quite high latency compared to local disks using PrimoCache makes a BIG difference and we'd like to use it on several instances.

I have been running 3.0.0 since the 30. Looking good, no issues at all so far, performance seems better, and I like that I can separately manage the write cache and dedicate more to read.

Hi Guys, Firstly I just want to commend the Romex team for a brilliant piece of software. I have been a user of this product for 6 years now and it makes a very noticeable performance boost to my system.
The only suggestion I could make is to have the Level 1 cache work dynamically by using a percentage of the system free RAM instead of a pre-set amount. That way is can scale itself up and down depending on the workload.
Also, I'm not sure if this is a glitch or I'm just not understanding the configuration settings but when I go to the "Volume Specifications" and adjust my SSD drives to be "write only" and then click "Save" and then "OK" it seems to reset the settings back to "by task" as per .

If I now buy a license for the second version, then I will have to pay for the upgrade to the third version? In other words, does it make sense to wait for the third version to be available for purchase?

Primocache is a lifetime license so you can buy it now without having to pay for an upgrade (see quote from Romex Website"nrw wrote:If I now buy a license for the second version, then I will have to pay for the upgrade to the third version?
