Blue Screen of Death in Windows 8.1

Post by Kakoon »

Hi,

Yesterday I installed Primocache 0.9.9 with an L2 cache, caching my HDD to a new 8 GB partition I created on my SSD. I set the memory cache to an absolute minimum. It worked fine last night, but when I started my computer this morning, I got the blue screen of death before logging in.

I am using Windows 8.1

I am now not sure whether my pc went to hybernate mode last night or not. I turned the computer on, went to get some coffee, and when I came back I saw the BSOD. So I will give you a more full report on that when it happens next time.

For now, I will attach a minidump and an entry from windows' event log (although my system is Dutch... so you probably won't understand much of it).

I attached a zip file with two screenshots to this post that should clear up the settings. If you need any more information, let me know.

This crash was caused by another product LogMeIn, not caused by PrimoCache.
BSOD code: DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION
Failure driver: Hamdrv.sys

Here is for your reference.
