Re: [2016-12-07] PrimoCache 2.7.0 released!
I'm really sorry. But I think that to help you is the job of Romex Software's Support/engineers/developers.
PrimoCache isn't a freeware. I bought 4 licences. They have to do the job for wich they get the cash.
We wait for a fix since 6 months now...
As you can read it, I become furious.

To restart or shutdown my PCs I use .bat files wich first pause PrimoCache and then use the shutdown command. For a general lay audience, this is unacceptable. It is like if to switch off the engine...

I don't know wich OS you use but I have the same issue with XP 32 and Seven 64 when I stop or restart...minhgi wrote:Anyway, I hope they resolve that issue with the reboot freezing for 3 minutes if there to much paging being used during a computer session.

Does PrimoCache use the TRIM command features (when the OS implemente it like windows 7) to manage the L2 cache and free blocks?

PrimoCache and paging file
Since v2.5.0, PrimoCache enables caching paging files.
It's an awesome feature.
But it needs to be enhanced by copying the paging files blocks in the L2 cache as soon as possible.
I think that to wait the reading of this blocks to cache them make it useless...
